A unique, collaborative ability is shared between Vivi & Steiner, but only when both are in the party. Steiner can choose to infuse his sword with a variety of magic provided by Vivi. If Vivi is disabled or knocked out, the command is cancelled and Steiner's turn is reset. But it's certainly worth the risk to try, as Steiner's physical attacks become much more powerful when magic is involved. And if the enemy just so happens to be weak to a certain element, you're in for the win.

A great use of this ability is to take advantage of using Doomsday magic on one target. Vivi's spell Doomsday will hit all characters, including the party and Vivi himself. But using Doomsday Sword only targets one character — the enemy character.
